Other attributes contain an wonderful 150,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for far more stunning colors and deeper blacks, two USB ports for connecting external drives for playing back MP3 audio, JPEG photo and DivX HD video files, stereo speakers with 20 watts of energy and Dolby Digital decoding, and four HDMI inputs.

I had been preparing on obtaining a brand new tv for pretty a though, and did as significantly reading and analysis as time would permit. I kept coming back to the LG 42LD550. What definitely sold me on it was the Netcast (powered by the WiFi USB dongle), super-high contrast ratio, wireless-ready, along with the price. The price! Man, a television like this would have cost various thousand dollars a few years ago.
At any rate, I've been functioning this set for about 2 weeks now, and I adore it. The picture high quality is amazing, it's very responsive, the remote is extremely beneficial, as well as the speakers are decent. When you spring for that wireless box, you could have the selection of mounting it straight on the wall without unsightly cables hanging off of it (or becoming routed through the drywall). Now it makes for a wonderful centerpiece of my entertainment center, which the wife loves to demonstrate off (win-win).
The Planet Cup is planning to appear mighty great in HD on this television!
